I remember pitching my very first idea to Azul who had been working in ACMI at that time alongside Sen who'd been with NGV ha dboth really kickstarted and fostered all of these experimental works that came out of the first conversation.
Their event Sequence of Spaces 01 which I had the pleasure of attending, felt so immersive in the way it invited audiences into the space. So the moment you step into their space, you've become part of the world-building and performance that happens intermittently in the space, eventually resulting in a final performance piece. While SOS1 commented on the typical office space, the conversation that I had first had with Azul and Sen became the basis of SOS2. Where do you go after a day at the office? The restaurant. The conversation goes: "you know those QR codes that take you to an online menu? What if played with that idea, using a satirical menu to play with the audience, and the audience with the performances?"
These questions lead to many works and collaborations from this point onwards, creating interactive experiences for events such as Cadena Festival
